David Grande

David Grande is the President and CEO, and along with his wife, Angela, is the co-founder of Cherished Creation's. In December 1996, he decided to fulfill his lifelong desire to "do something to benefit children" and formed Cherished Creations. A former high school and collegiate basketball player, now a high school varsity coach with over 30 years of experience at these levels, David continues to make a positive difference in the lives of young adults.

The Cherished Creations' office is housed in the headquarters of our Parent Company, Vitusa Products. Inc specialized marketing and sales organization. The staff and resources of the office (postage, copying, computers, etc.) are generously shared with us at no charge.

Suzanne Grande

Suzanne Grande is the Executive Director of Cherished Creations. She has a BS and an MA from Fairfield University and is a certified English teacher and School Media Specialist. After teaching high school English for 8 years in both Connecticut and New Jersey, she chose to follow her passion for helping others by joining the Cherished Creations team in 2011.

Suzanne's role at Cherished Creations is community outreach, event planning, VGo Robot Lending Program, and fundraising.

Doreen Whitney

Doreen Whitney will be gradually retiring as the Director of Program Services of Cherished Creations.  She is currently working with and mentoring Jessica Risler, a  new Wish Coordinator for Cherished Creations.  Doreen has been with us since  and is will be enjoying her retirement with her husband, children and beautiful granddaughter.   Doreen has been an invaluable asset to so many deserving wish kids and their families, and especially as a teammate with Suzanne.  Doreen's meticulous organization and kind nature are a testament to her hard work and dedication to this charity.   As Director, Doreen is instrumental in making children’s wishes come true. She is on the front line interacting with wish recipients, their families, social workers, health care professionals, and all kinds of vendors, depending on the type of wish granted. Doreen holds a BA in Psychology from Kean University, and her past experiences include acting as a Patient Relations Advocate. Additionally, Doreen has supported local communities by acting as a volunteer member of the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) in Morristown, New Jersey, and as a Volunteer Guardian for One-on-One Inc. in Flemington, New Jersey.
